12-Day Portugal UNESCO history & culture tour
Portugal is very easy for self guided tour. This is my 12-day Portugal itinerary to the most iconic UNESCO sites, and to experience Portugal's rich history & culture. The route is Lisbon (4 nights) → Coimbra (2 nights) → Porto (5 nights) with day trips to nearby towns. This whole trip can be done without renting a car. We use train for Intra-city transportation, metro, Uber, and walk in the cities. The day trips I booked to other cities are either with a large group on a bus, or a small private one with a van. There are many options on GetYourGuide.com.
